How long does it take to get SENTRI approved?
Processing times vary by applicant, but on average you can expect your application to be processed as follows: Global Entry: 4-6 months. NEXUS: 12-14 months. SENTRI: 10-12 months. The program is available to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, Canadian citizens, Canadian permanent residents, and Mexican nationals. Members of NEXUS can use the benefits of Global Entry if their fingerprints and passport information were collected during the interview to apply for the program.
