Is NAViGO part of NHS?
“Navigo – a model of social sustainability It is an NHS funded social enterprise that provides mental health care across north Lincolnshire.
I sail, navigate, seafare.
Is NAViGO a charity?
NAViGO’s official charity is The Gardiner Hill Foundation It’s set up to enhance and enrich the lives of people with mental health problems.
Navigo Consulting and Coaching was founded in 2003 by Andrew Horlick, Heather Lehmann and Sheila Bouman. They built a company that integrated change management consulting, coaching and training services to improve the ability of organizations to implement changes critical to their success.
With your Navigo pass, you may travel on every Metro line, all RER (Regional Express Network) and Transilien train lines, all bus lines (except Orlybus and Roissybus) and all Tram lines in the Paris region, as well as the Montmartre Funicular.
As far as I know, Navigo Découverte (non-resident version of Navigo) card blanks are not sold anywhere but in Ile-de-France region surrounding Paris so I believe your agent in Lyon cannot buy Navigo for you. There are no child versions of Navigo available to non-resident school children unfortunately.
Activate your card at the terminal of a Vélib’ station using your ID/subscription number and your activation code, and the PIN code you have chosen when signing up online. Voila, Velib is on your navigo.
You’ll need a passport photo to obtain the pass. The Passe Navigo costs € 5 ( US$ 5.30) and is non-refundable.
Your Navigo Découverte card is valid for 10 years: keep it for your next trip, you may buy as many fares with it as you want!
You may travel on all of the public transport networks in the Île-de-France region: metro, RER, bus, tramway and train, with the exception of Orlyval, SNCF train lines with reserved seating, and the Optile special fare lines. The “all zones” travel pass allows you unlimited travel in all zones, every day of the week.
Within the selected zones, the Navigo Weekly Ticket is valid on all modes of transport (metro, train, RER, express tram, tram, bus including Filéo), with the exception of certain direct airport services.
Navigo Decouverte card / Navigo Pass can be purchased from the CDG airport train station ticket counters at CDG Terminal 2 train station and CDG Terminal 1 / Roissypole train station.
* The only tiny drawback to the Navigo Easy is that it cannot be loaded with RER tickets yet. So if you’re planning on going outside of the Paris city limits, like visiting Versailles or visiting Disneyland Paris, you’ll still need to buy a single-use paper RER ticket from a ticket machine.
