Is there an email address for TV Licensing?
Genuine TV Licensing emails are sent from donotreply@tvlicensing.co.uk or donotreply@spp.tvlicensing.co.uk. If you have provided us with your postcode details, our emails will include part of your postcode and/or the name on the licence.
Will I be contacted about my TV Licence?
On receipt of payment of the applicable licence fee (or in the case of customers who pay in instalments, the applicable issue fee), your TV Licence will be sent to your nominated email address, which must be valid for you to receive the emails we send you.
How do I cancel my UK TV Licence?
How to cancel your licence
- If you pay by Direct Debit or all in one go, you can cancel your licence online now.
- Once you’ve done this, make sure you cancel your Direct Debit with your bank, if this is how you pay.
- If you pay with a TV Licensing payment card you will need to contact us.
How can I check if I’ve paid my TV Licence?
You can check your balance now by either:
- Signing into your payment card to view your payment history and balance.
- Calling our 24 hour automated enquiry service on 0300 555 0286*.
- Texting INFO along with your Customer Number (eg: INFO 123456789) to 64488.
Does TV Licence have live chat?
TV Licensing doesn’t have any Live Chat facility but they offer email support. While TV Licensing UK does not offer any live chat service or phone support, you can still contact them through email.
What happens when my TV license expires?
If you are renewing a TV Licence, you can renew it from the first day of the month that the TV Licence expires in. For example, if your TV Licence expires on the 30th November, you can renew it from the 1st November. However, if you want to switch to pay by Direct Debit, you can do this at anytime.
